Camila Cabello hit the 2018 American Music Awards stage with an emotional performance of her new single, “Consequences,” about the damaging effects of toxic relationships. The Cuban-American songstress appeared on the AMA stage in front of an illuminated backdrop with an accompanying orchestra elevating her raw performance. After singer her long-awaited track, the singer-songwriter warranted a standing ovation from the moved audience.
“Consequences” is the former Fifth Harmony member’s latest single to hit airways from her debut self-titled album Camilla. “Consequences” appeared on streaming sites hours before her second solo performance on the American Music Awards stage (Oct.9). The new single is set to feature a sultry yet haunting new video featuring The Suite Life of Zack and Cody star, Dylan Sprouse.
Cabello also walked away from the 2018 American Music Awards with a win for Favorite Song Pop/Rock, Favorite Music Video, New Artist of the Year and Collaboration of the Year.
