Last week (Nov. 8), Josh X released the relaxed visual to the Cardi B-assisted smash single “Heaven On My Mind.” The native New Yorker enjoys a night on the town to get away from his father with a very beautiful woman in an eventful night that includes the duo going bowling.
The euphonic track has eclipsed the top 50 on Billboard’s emerging artist chart and has drawn the approval of some of the biggest names in the industry such as Swizz Beatz, Birdman, and the great Stevie Wonder who stated, “Josh continues to carry out the legacy of being a musician that represents real music.” Cardi B makes a brief appearance in the video, spitting her eloquent bars while chilling inside a luxurious whip.
“I’m feeling good about my position in music, hearing DJ Envy play my single on the Breakfast Club to Funk Flex dropping a bomb on ‘Heaven On My Mind,’ says it all for me,” the 26-year-old expressed. “I’m grateful to have my team KSR behind me 100 percent. Stevie Wonder asked me to be an artist that helps uplift people and that’s exactly what I’m doing.”
