September 20 marks a special day for Cardi B and Offset who have practically become hip-hop’s “it” couple. The boogie-down Bronx chick celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary with her Georgia Peach by sharing a photo of their quick ceremony.
Cardi posted the picture to Instagram rocking fiery red-colored hair and a white tracksuit with gold lines, holding hands with the Migos member who wore a black tracksuit with an iced-out watch on his wrist. Together, the two bow their heads in holy matrimony before an officiant.
A month after their secret marriage, Offset publicly proposed to the “Bodak Yellow” rapper onstage in Philadelphia with a massive eight-carat ring. The wedding was kept a secret from the press until Offset began to refer to Cardi as his wife. In June, the mother-of-one revealed that she and the Atlanta MC were indeed husband and wife.
After the news broke of their holy union, Cardi took to Twitter, stating, “There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself. Getting married was one of those moments! Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up, and we had a lot of growing up to do, but we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other.”
She continued, noting that “one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married. We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress and no makeup and no ring! I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me to have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on one knee and put a ring on my finger, and he did that for me!!”

Cardi and Offset welcomed their first child together, a girl named Kulture, in July. Kulture is Cardi’s first child while this is Offset’s fourth.
