Cardi B may have another hit on her hands. As she continues to recover from giving birth in July 2018, the “I Like That” rapper previewed a new track on Instagram on Thursday (Aug. 2), and it may earn Cardi another No. 1 record.
In the brief clip, the Bronx native appears to be in bed rocking a blue wig. The new track sounds like an uptempo single with a house-inspired beat.
“Do you hate my attitude or is just my appearance?/Are you mad I get paid just to make an appearance?/Are you mad your baby dad wanna make me a parent?/I look good in anything, Fashion Nova on clearance,” she raps.
Unfortunately Cardi didn’t reveal any other details regarding the single’s title or release date, but we do know the rapper is currently in “new project” mode. Last month, she revealed that she would be releasing a new album in fall 2018. Cardi also teased a possible remix for Tyga’s platinum hit, “Taste,” which features Offset.
