The success of Cardi B‘s Invasion Of Privacy came as a surprise after “Bodak Yellow” had the potential to overshadow her budding career. Nearly eight months after the album’s initial release (Apr. 5), the 26-year-old is re-issuing a deluxe edition of her first studio project.
Slated to drop at the start of 2019, the tracklist will be expanding on the 13-song LP with two additional joints. One of them is “Money,” which became one of many singles that earned the new mother a position of the Billboard Hot 100 after dropping October.
Adding to the hype surrounding the re-release, the “Be Careful” MC teased a new song “Press.” Previewed briefly in her Instagram story, the Grammy-nominated artist delivered her energetic flow over a high impact beat.
“Press, press, press, press, press / Cardi don’t need more press,” she raps in the teaser. “Walk in, bulletproof vest / Please tell me who she gon’ check.”
The reissuing was projected to make its way to fans in Sept. 2018. The updated version was initially supposed to incorporate five new songs. Check out the expected soundtrack below.
