Things aren’t what they seem. A recent video surfaced online of Cardi B’s security guard pulling down her skirt while she was onstage in Paris this past weekend.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper recently took to Twitter to defend her security, and explain her outburst after he tried helping her. By no means was he trying to be a creep or disrespect her body.
“Dear everybody my security was just trying to look out!” she wrote on Monday (Nov. 27). “My skirt kept rising up. I got upset is because he put so much force pulling it down I thought I would fall! I love the team of people I work with.”

Amid the minor mishap, it’s worth noting things are only getting brighter for the Bronx-bred MC as she recently received two Grammy Awards nominations for her ubiquitous hit single, “Bodak Yellow.”
