Cardi B will reportedly turn herself into the police on Monday (Oct. 1), in regards to a brawl that went down at a strip club in Queens, NY, according to TMZ. The Bronx rapper will be ordered to appear in court to speak on her involvement in the incident.
It’s unclear when the fight actually occurred, but sources close to TMZ state that Cardi is accused of ordering an attack on two bartenders at the Angels Strip Club. The alleged victims – who have now been identified as Jade and Baddie Gi – allege Cardi ordered a hit on them over Jade’s alleged involvement with the rapper’s husband Offset. Cardi reportedly believes Jade may have slept with Offset during their relationship.
The longstanding beef reportedly turned physical when Cardi appeared at the strip club in support of the Migos, who were performing at the venue. After coming face-to-face with the two bartenders, the “I Like It” rapper allegedly ordered her team to attack them with bottles and chairs. Both of the women were hurt badly and required immediate medical care.
If you’re wondering why this story sounds so familiar, it’s probably because Nicki Minaj leaked some of the details during an episode of her Queen Radio in Sept. 2018. Similar to the current reports, Minaj claimed Cardi had assaulted two women because of jealousy and infidelity in her marriage.
Sources close to the rapper allege the attack was “spontaneous” and only escalated after a drink was thrown. Cardi will likely be charged with two misdemeanors for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. She will not be arrested on the charges as long as she turns herself into the authorities.
