On top of delivering his third mixtape Coloring Book, Chance The Rapper revealed a few more tidbits about the project and more importantly the curious case of his joint project with Childish Gambino.
The two have dropped hints about a joint mixtape dating back to 2014, but nothing has come of it. Gambino returned to his other love (film) and has sadly dropped off the face of the web. During Chance’s “Ask Me Anything” with Reddit following his Coloring Book release, the artist revealed his favorite track from the mixtape (“How Great”), why Big Sean was removed from “No Problem” and just where he stands with the joint project with Gambino.
A single “Yes” answered the question about the project with Gambino, leading many to wonder if the project was shelved or could be in the works.
Other takeaways from the AMA were the reveal of his favorite Kanye West song, “We Don’t Care,” and his long list of favorite comedians which include Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, Mitch Hedberg, Hannibal Burress, Nick Thune and Aziz Anzari.
In the meantime, we can keep grooving to their previous collabos,”The Worst Guys,” “Favorite Song,” and the Royalty cut, “They Don’t Like Me.”
