Chance the Rapper is full of surprises.
The Chicago MC wasn’t on the bill for this year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, but he ended up hit the stage during J. Cole and Bryson Tiller’s sets Friday.
Cole brought Chance out to perform “No Problem” first, and he followed up with an encore performance for Tiller’s show.
Earlier in the day, Chance tweeted that he would be at Bonnaroo on assignment for a mystery publication, but he kept the rest of his festival plans quiet.
I’ll be at #Bonnaroo again this year, but this time I’ll doing a write up for a publication I admire and revere. Can’t wait. ?🏾

Despite the festival’s Twitter account spilling the beans early, it’s safe to say fans weren’t expecting Chance to bless the stage twice.
