Chance the Rapper continues to give back to his hometown of Chicago, this time in the form of a free concert.
The Surf rapper helped to curate a list of performers that’ll breeze through the Windy City this year with the first “Teens in the Park” event presented by the Chicago City of Learning, The Chicago Park District, and Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

Expecting more than 5,000 young adults, the event will go down on Northerly Island on June 24, and is geared toward 13 to 24-year-olds. Performers range from revered collaborator Donnie Trumpet to bubbling artist DLow, and sponsored activities from Kanye West’s non-profit Donda’s House, and The Art Institute. The festival follows Chance’s recent open mic night for Chicago adolescents. Vic Mensa and Kanye West recently made a surprise appearance at the event.
