Looks like Chris Brown is letting bygones be bygones. In a sit-down interview with Sway Calloway for MTV News, Brown talked about letting go of his past beef with Drake and collaborating musically with the YMCMB artist. Wearing a wide-brim Fedora, Brown, 25 simply said it was time to do away with all the negativity. “I think it was his camp who called to do the skit [FOR ESPN] Brown said to Calloway. “For me, especially after getting out of jail and going through what I was going through, I just didn’t have any animosity towards anybody. I’m just focused on me.” Brown said while he and Drake didn’t have a “pow-wow” and sip some tea to discuss their pass aggressions toward one another, and no, a certain pop star did not come up in conversation, he said he simply wanted to show everyone–including himself–how much he’s grown. “I just wanted to bring light to the situation and grow up. I’m 25 I’m not getting no younger. I’m still young,” he said with a laugh. “You can’t walk around holding grudges, looking over your shoulder. Being negative all the time, I’m tired of being looked at as the aggressor. I just wanted to show my maturity.” Not mad at you, Chris. Not mad at all.
