It’s been an interesting week for Chris Brown. On Tuesday morning (Aug. 30), the R&B singer awoke to helicopters over his house and law enforcement outside of his doors. A 911 call was made by a woman named Baylee Curran, who said that Brown allegedly threatened her with a gun after he asked her to leave his house.
The “Loyal” singer was detained by officers after they received a search warrant, but he later made bail at $250,000. Reports surfaced that there were weapons and drugs found on the premise, but those revelations were actually false.
Now, Breezy’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, is putting to rest more accusations, starting with Curran’s story of being assaulted with a deadly weapon. According to The Los Angeles Times, Geragos stated, “It has become apparent that the allegations are not just false, but fabricated.” Curran initially said she was looking at some of Brown’s jewelry, specifically a necklace, when Brown demanded that she leave his home. However, authorities didn’t find the item that Curran described once they searched the premise.
It has also been reported that Curran has a history of theft, previously an incident occurred at The Plaza hotel in New York City where she stole a designer purse that had cash and credit cards inside.
Once Brown returned home, he dropped a new song titled “What Would You Do,” and posted a video in response to the day’s incident. “You know all this bullsh*t, everything that’s been going on, I’m just going to turn the other cheek, drop some music.”
