Throwback Sunday, anyone?
A quick rewind to more amicable times between Chris Brown and Rihanna has surfaced online. The sensual duet, “Put It Up,” was intended to be featured on Breezy’s 2014 album X, but was not included in the final release. On the nearly five-minute track, RiRi and Brown trade seemingly-personal professions of love and lust.
“Baby ain’t no need to be scared of me, I guarantee that I’m not a mistake,” Rihanna sings in the track’s opening. “I’ma give you all of my love and i hope that you won’t misplace it. You created this shit, going insane with all this fear. Can’t turn my back on it, I’m in love.”

Over the snap-accented beat, Brown tells his former flame, “I’ma write my name with my tongue on your back baby,” while instructing her to “treat me like I’m your property.” When originally revealing the collaboration, Brown shared that the track would take a more R&B route that would be expected for the Bajan pop star.
“At the end of the day, that’s what they expect from us, so I wanted to do more of a record that nobody really heard her sing on as far as that genre,” he said.
