
The eye of suspicion in the assault case against Chris Brown is beginning to shift from the entertainer, to the woman who accused him of threatening her with a gun. According to TMZ, 25-year-old Baylee Curran allegedly sent text messages to a friend the night of the incident and said she would frame the Royalty singer out of revenge for kicking her out of his house.
“Hey safari don’t you know this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake can you come get me my Uber is messing up if not I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I’m going to set his ass up. Lol come get me.”
Curran’s friend Safari allegedly responded condemning her actions. “Really that’s f*** up you ain’t going to do that your wrong if you do.” At the time of this post, Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, is trying to authenticate the text messages obtained by TMZ.
On Tuesday (Aug. 30) the “Loyal” singer woke up to helicopters surrounding his home in the Tarzana neighborhood of LA, along with a swarm of police at his door step. After LAPD provided a warrant, the 27-year-old singer was taken into custody. Brown then posted $250,000 bail and returned home later that evening.
While Chris Brown’s run-ins with police is a lengthy one, Curran’s history isn’t squeaky clean either. Curran is wanted in connection grand larceny incident at the New York City Plaza hotel. Three years ago, she was vacationing with two years ago with two friends a the famous hotel. The friends allegedly got into an argument and Curran left with one who stole a purse filled with credit cards and about $1,000 in cash. The New York Daily News also reported just two month after winning the 2016 Miss Regional California title she was stripped of her crown for not upholding specific moral standards. Pageant officials say they’ve called several times asking for Curran to return the crown.
