Another day, another Chris Brown-related controversy. After being accused of recent hit and run charges, the singer’s alleged victim—who also happens to be Miss Russian L.A. 2013—has stepped into the spotlight to reveal her side of the tale.
In broken English, Olga Gure-Kovalenko (photographed above) told TMZ that she was “practically scared to death of Brown because he was driving a huge SUV at the time of the accident, and was covered in tattoos.” She also says that the singer was very angry with her after the fenderbender that occurred in May in Los Angeles and called her a “bitch.” There’s a disconnect between the claims and the incident as photos that surfaced from the scene of the alleged crime show Brown wearing a long-sleeved sweater.
Meanwhile, Breezy recently fired up his timeline, denying the accusations from the crash along with reports that he had sexually assaulted a club-goer last weekend following his PowerHouse performance. “I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene … She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures … My profile pic is the pic I took of the persons car after “the hit and run”. NO damage. Just a dirty car.once again, I gotta clear my name,” he wrote.
A source from the LAPD also supported Breezy’s claims that he was following proper procedures throughout the entire ordeal by vouching for his good behavior. “Chris was fully cooperative. He pulled over at the scene and gave the woman his correct insurance details,” the source told The Mirror. “He has tried to contact the driver to confirm the right information following the allegations. Unfortunately, it would seem she has gone off the radar and isn’t responding to his attempts to resolve the situation.”
Despite the hurdles being thrown into Brown’s path during his probation period and on the road to the release of his new album X, he continues to keep music his main concern. “I work my ass off to provide for my entire family. I’ve made mistakes in the past and have worked hard to be a better person,” he wrote. “19-24 years of age. I don’t have all the answers and you can’t show me a person that age who has it figured out.We live and grow.Let me live.”
