So long Gwen Stefani, it’s been real. Christina Aguilera will be returning to her throne, as an original judge for the upcoming season of NBC’s The Voice. Carson Daly, the host of the famed reality show made a big announcement on the Today show Tuesday morning (Oct.14). He stated that season 8’s judges will include Pharrell, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and “X-tina.” Aguilera went M.I.A for 3 seasons, tending to her fiance’ Matt Rutler and their newborn child, Summer Rain Rutler. During that time, Shakira and Gwen Stefani were able to keep her comfy red chair warm, but the Grammy Award-winning powerhouse remained irreplaceable. So far, fans of the show are showing great appreciation towards X-tina’s comeback, including Queen Latifah:
Oh we’re X-cited to hear @xtina is coming back to #thevoice!!!!!! 🙂 @NBCTheVoice

Aguilera herself even chimed in on the matter in a recent tweet:
New baby. New Music. New season of @NBCtheVoice. Bringing #FireAndFun to all, can’t wait for 2015!

Although Aguilera has never coached a winning voice champion, we’re pretty sure that she’s prepared to take the crown home this upcoming season. #ReturnOfTheQueen You can watch The Voice on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC
