So it’s of no surprise that as Milian, 33, gear up to release new music, her lead single ‘Rebel’ be about her new main squeeze. In a sit-down interview with E!, Violet’s mama explains what it means to be a rebel for someone.
“There’s nothing better than that feeling of new chemistry when you’re so into someone and you could care less about what anyone else thinks, and there’s butterflies! It’s a real feeling that people experience.”
In the sensual video, the ‘Dip It Low’ singer rocks short wet and wavy hair, while wearing a white blouse and ripped jeans. As she gives the camera her best bedroom eyes in the Alton-Glass directed video, fans will see a new, sexier more confident Christina Milian, which is a direct result of her love affair with Weezy F Baby.
“For me, I’m so inspired by the relationship that I’m in that it’s definitely an experience. It’s that careless, hopeless, romantic love – that feeling of ‘I will do anything for you’ and it’s just incredible and so yea, ‘rebel for you’ means ‘I’m all about you.’ “
Milian is gearing up to release a five-song EP in June featuring ‘Rebel’ and her Lil Wayne assisted ‘Do It.’
