The turn up in Brooklyn this Saturday (July 11) got even realer after Ms. Foxy Brown graced the stage with Common at the 11th annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival.
Clad in a plunging-necklined blouse, Foxy took us back with the club-banging “Ain’t No N****” single of Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt where she delivers some of hip-hop’s most memorable bars from the 1996 single. On Instagram, Common extended thanks to the Brooklyn-bred rapper for the surprise performance.

This year’s festival-goers also saw live sets from Mobb Deep, Charles Hamilton, Skyzoo, Freeway, Lion Babe, Mista Sinista, Tripset, Slim Dollars and more. Lion Babe will also hit this year’s AfroPunk festival in August. With hip-hop exhibitions, curated food tours and a classic film festival hosted VIBE’s own Mikey Fresh, the Brooklyn fest turned up the heat over its four-day lapse.
