Who said life on the moon wouldn’t be great? In fact, after watching Corinne Bailey Rae’s “Been on the Moon” video, life in outer space seems more than viable.
The track his one from her forthcoming album, The Heart Speaks in Whispers, which is her first studio album in six years. And to commemorate the two-time Grammy winners return, the is a vibrant and energetic video that shows off her soulful vocals and humble spirit. The colorful video features the singer joyously bouncing around in the forefront of volcanic and eroded landscapes.
In addition to the singer’s futuristic video, she has also unveiled the track listing for her upcoming record. The 12-track album will pair her strong vocals with a number of musicians like Esperanza Spalding, Pino Palladino (who has also worked with Erykah Badu) and James Gadson (who worked with Marvin Gaye).
Corinne Bailey Rae’s full-length album will not release until March 13 via Virgin Records, but fans can celebrate her return to music by watching her video for “Been on the Moon,” and by checking out her trackless for The Heart Speaks in Whispers below.
