As fans contemplate walking away from swine for a pair of concert tickets from Beyonce and Jay-Z, the fine print has given us hope that new music might be on the horizon.
Announced Thursday (Jan. 31), Beyonce shared on Instagram a special contest sponsored by 22-Days Nutrition, titled the “Greenprint Initiative” to encourage people to live a more plant-based lifestyle for the sake of mother nature. Bey’s requirements for the contest are simple: share a few posts about your journey and the first batch of entries have a shot at winning Jay and Bey tickets “for life.”
For life actually means free tickets to either artist’s show in the “next 30 years.” It’s refreshing to see the two thinking ahead, but we doubt they plan on performing just “Crazy In Love” or “December 4th” in 2040. There’s a bit of hope that their future setlists will be a strong mix of classics and any new music Blue Ivy or the twins will inspire.
On the food side of things, 22-Days Nutrition was kicked off by Beyonce’s trainer Marco Borges. The contest also allows you to follow diets from his book, which Jay and Bey penned the intro for. Bey’s plan isn’t all vegan as there’s “meatless Mondays,” meaning there’s a chance pasta and other shiny starches are welcomed.
Of course, there were plenty of those willing to pretend to go vegan for Bey tickets.
