The suspense surronding Cozz’s upcoming album is reaching new levels. In the three years since the L.A. native dropped his breakthrough album Cozz & Effect via Dreamville/Interscope, he has hopped on a few tracks with his Dreamville brethren, joined the squad on J. Cole’s ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ Tour, and ripped the mic in the cyphers at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards. Now he’s itching to drop one hell of an album this Spring, and his new single proves it.
After breaking the ice with “Questions” at the top of 2018, the Dreamville signee keeps the momentum rising with another freezer. Cozz heads down south to NOLA to rock with Curren$y in “Badu.” Both rappers get lifted while they drop aggressive bars over Meez and Enimal’s jazzy production. Look out for Cozz’s new album Effected very soon.
