Already being dubbed the “soundtrack of the year” by fans, the soundscape for Creed II has finally hit e-shelves. On Nov. 16, executive producer Mike WiLL Made-It stepped into the streaming ring after days of teasing the project’s suspense.
On Nov. 12, the sought-after producer went viral on Twitter for sharing the soundtrack’s tracklist. With 15 melodies, Creed II: The Album features replay-worthy collaborations between Crime Mobb And Slim Jxmmi (“We Can Hit”), Ari Lennox and J. Cole (“Shea Butter Baby”) and Eearz, ScHoolboy Q, and 2 Chainz (“Kill ‘Em With Success”).
After listening to the album, it’s clear that Mike WiLL Made-It was on a mission to set a new standard for film soundtracks. The beats cater to each artist’s style, something the Atlanta native touched on during his Twitter announcement.
“Rare collabs, loud mixes, new flows, fresh melodies, new tempos, new frequencies, real messages in the most organic way, the soundtrack/collaboration album game will never be the same after this,” he said.
Get pumped below ahead of Creed II‘s cinematic debut on Nov. 21.
