Innovative music release strategies seem to be the new wave of the industry. In a trend most recently enacted by Nipsey Hussle, Curren$y is taking the higher-priced route with his upcoming Pilot Talk 3 album. How much higher? 100 dollars.
In the form of a USB pack, Curren$y’s highly-anticipated third installment of Pilot Talk will include a pre-loaded USB drive with the album (including accompanying photos and videos), a piece of exclusive Jet Life apparel, and the Pilot Talk 3 collection 2015 lookbook. The rapper is also considering streaming the album online:

More expensive releases have worked in the favor of rappers like Nipsey Hussle, who sold 60 copies of his Mailbox Money album back in January, priced at $1,000 each. Curren$y’s Pilot Talk 3 will be released on April 4. Pre-order is available here.
