Dej Loaf doesn’t plan on slowing down stopping anytime soon. The 23 year-old Detroit native has received major thumbs up for her latest single “Try Me,” and has collected stamps of approval for her mixtape Sell Sole.
Now, she has her eyes set out for a slew of major dream collaborations with some of the rap game’s most valuable players. In a recent interview with Paper magazine, Dej named all the artists she’d like to work with.
“I have something in mind for Missy Elliot, Charlie Wilson and DMX. People you haven’t seen in a while and who I grew up listening to,” she revealed. “I definitely want to work with legends.”

In addition to Missy, the Detroit freshman also expressed a desire work with other female emcees, despite the “catty” nature of the female rap lane.
“It’s hard, the whole beef thing and females’ catty attitudes. We only have Nicki Minaj and maybe Iggy. You don’t have many female hip-hop stars at all,” she continued. “And I think that’s the reason, because everybody wants to be on top, like how the guys do it. But there is room for all of us. That’s how I’m approaching it until problems are presented to me and I feel like acting on them. I’ll just do Dej. I won’t feed into it. I got love for everyone. I want to work with Nicki Minaj, I would work with Iggy, I already said Missy Elliott. I’d love to work with Lil Kim. I already worked with Remy Ma. Remy Ma is like one of my favorite rappers—female rappers anyway.” – Richy Rosario
