On Sunday (Nov. 18), Diddy held a private memorial service to remember the life and impact of Kim Porter. According to TMZ, the homegoing tribute took place at Diddy’s home in Bel-Air, Calif., and over a hundred people were in attendance.
The service was held a few days after Porter’s passing. Reports state the mother-of-four was found lifeless in her home on Thursday morning (Nov. 15), having suffered cardiac arrest. The exact cause of her passing is still being investigated.
Diddy and Porter have three children together: Christian Casey, 20, and twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James, 11. On Sunday, Diddy broke his silence to pay tribute to Porter, writing on social media that “we were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. We were some other sh*t! And I miss you so much.” According to The Grio, the funeral service will be held in Columbus, Ga., where Porter was born and raised.
The model/entrepreneur’s first child, Quincy Brown, took to social media to express his thoughts and hope for the future.
“I am broken…& the only thing that makes sense right now is that you were way too good for this silly world we live in,” Brown wrote. “I love you so much MOMMY. Please give Mee-Maw the biggest hug and kiss for me.”

Justin Dior Combs, Diddy’s son from a previous relationship, also commemorated Porter, who he referred to as his “second mother.”

Longtime family friend Kimora Lee Simmons was also in attendance at the homegoing service, writing on Instagram that Porter’s guardian angel status will forever cover her children. “Between us we have 8 kids who are all cousins. We are, and will always be, a family,” Simmons wrote. “I will look after yours and you will look after and guide us all.”
