Diddy wants Cassie to know that she’ll always be “the lady in his life.” The 48-year-old mogul hopped on Instagram Friday (Oct. 26) with a post-breakup message for his ex, by way of Michael Jackson.
“If anyone sees Cassie this weekend please tell her to listen to this song 100 times,” he captioned a screenshot of “The Lady in My Life” off Jackson’s Thriller album.
The ’80s ballad, penned by Rod Temperton, finds Jackson pining for another round of romance with a lost love.

Diddy may have a ways to go before he gets back in Cassie’s good graces. A rep for Cassie confirmed the split last week, amid rumors that Diddy allegedly cheated with a 26-year-old model that he was allegedly spotted with in Miami.
The 32-year-old singer hasn’t commented on the situation, with the exception of a cryptic post on her Instagram story and a snippet of a new song posted with the hashtag “#Hungover.”
