It’s official! Everyone has sent in their vocals for DJ Khaled’s Grateful album. Today (June 23), the masterpiece was packaged, shipped and released for consumers to enjoy.
The New Orleans-born entertainer’s tenth studio album is loaded with 23 songs and features hip-hop’s elite such as Jadakiss, Nas, Pusha T, Future, Nicki Minaj, Chance the Rapper, and many others.
On the road to Grateful‘s birthday, Khaled delivered four body-shaking singles: JAY-Z and Beyonce’s “Shining;” “To the Max” with Drake; Rihanna and Bryson Tiller’s “Wild Thoughts;” and “I’m the One” with Justin Bieber, Quavo, and Chance the Rapper, which is currently the No. 2 song on Billboard’s Hot 100.
Not only is Khaled grateful, but the Miami-based DJ is blessed, too. Along with the release of Grateful, Khaled collaborated with the Jordan brand on his signature ‘Grateful 3’ sneakers.
In related Khaled news, on the song “Idols Become Rivals,” Rick Ross alleged that Birdman indulged in some shady business dealings with DJ Khaled. But during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Khaled said that he has nothing but love for Birdman, — and he did not give details on his past relationship with the head of Cash Money Records.
Grateful is the follow-up to 2016’s Major Key album. Fans can stream Grateful below and cop it over at iTunes.
