DJ Khaled has been making major business moves in 2016, yet despite building and diversifying his portfolio, Khaled has stayed true to his music roots teasing (and promising) fans new tunes are on the way.
Sunday night (June 26) after the 2016 BET Awards, his highly-anticipated video “I Got The Keys” featuring Future and Jay Z was released. Stills from the shoot were dropped like breadcrumbs on social media weeks prior tickling the fancy of fans the world over. The black-and-white clip places the trio inside a jail as police guards stand by while inmates with make-shift weapons brawl.
As Jay spits his verse walking through the prison halls to freedom, he’s then joined by some of hip-hop’s greatest lyricists in a show of solidarity. Dressed in all black the “I Got The Keys” video features cameos from Busta Rhymes, T.I, 2 Chainz, Swizz Beatz, Fabolous, ASAP Ferg, Pusha T and more. Khaled’s Major Key is due to drop July 29.
