We’re now just a few days away from the visuals to DJ’s Khaled’s highly-anticipated single “I Got The Keys” featuring Jay Z and Future.
Khaled, who is gearing up for the release of his album Major Key on July 29, confirmed the video will premiere after the 16th annual BET Awards show on Sunday (June 26,) during Friday’s episode of We the Best Radio. “This video is powerful. It’s iconic. It’s amazing,” Khaled said via Complex. “First of all, Jay Z don’t shoot no videos. He barely shoots his own videos. It’s very rare that you see the icon Jay Z. Very rare.”
Photos from the “I Got The Keys” video shoot surfaced on social media earlier this month. Fans called it the Black man’s version of “Formation” after artists like Fabolous, A$AP Ferg, T.I, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Pusha T, Swizz Beats, Busta Rhymes, Bryson Tiller and Yo Gotti were seen well, getting in formation.
In addition to the big news, Tidal also released a special trailer to Jaÿ-Z: RD20, a documentary that takes an inside look into Jay’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt.
