On Tuesday (August2), DJ Khaled took to his Facebook page to pen a heartfelt letter to the fans, commemorating the bond they’ve formed over the years through “Fan Luv.” Life is good for the 40-year-old, with Major Key on pace to dethrone Drake’s “VIEWS” and secure the number one spot on the Billboard charts this week.
The Snapchat king began the letter by thanking the fans for pushing him to be his very best, which showed on his latest album, Major Key.
“Thank you for your consistent support. For inspiring me to be the best I can possibly be. For giving me the strength it takes to go out in the world aka the jungle to bring you the best possible version of me. Fan luv over the years we have become closer as a family. Fan luv was there when I was a young DJ ripping down any club that would allow me to display my God given talent.”
The 305 resident went on his future plans for music and in life.
“My goal is to spread love. My goal is to inspire the next young genius to be great. My goal is to create the best body of work that speaks to everyone.”
The soon to be father also reflected on the hard work he’s poured into his latest project, which released last week.
“On July 29th I released my 9th in studio album Major 🔑. It’s the culmination of 25 years of blood swears and tears. And it’s my best work to date. Fan luv u bring me so much joy and happiness every time i see my fans u bring my spirits up to a high level”
Khaled finished the letter as only he could, filled with sayings that have become a staple of teenage vocabulary across the nation, and a bunch of emojis sprinkled in.
Stay you Khaled, and congrats on the album! #MajorKeyAlert
