They told him he would never tour, but that’s just what DJ Khaled did – with Queen Bey at that. Khaled, who’s sitting high on the Billboard Hot 100 with his newest single “For Free” featuring Drake, took to his Instagram account to deliver a special thank you to Beyoncé while dropping some major keys to his fans.
The producer and Snap King joined the singer for the North American leg of her tour. Khaled didn’t take his job lightly, he made sure to bring out hip hop’s finest stars during his set in major cities like New York and Los Angeles. Busta Rhymes, T.I., Future, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe and Remy Ma are just some of the many names that joined him on stage.
“Beyoncé I want to say, thank you for allowing me to bring my energy and passion on stage every night,” he said in his lengthy letter to Bey and the hive. “Thank you for allowing me to bring on all the artists who jumped on stage with me to bring the fans a special energy called ‘Major Key Alert!!!!’ Beyoncé I want to say, thank you for providing me and the millions of millions of fans across the globe your amazing talent and music and performance. You’re the queen!!!! Fan Luv this is just the beginning!!!”
He also made sure to double his love for Beyonce by posting the letter twice with photos taken by Roc Nation’s Lenny Santiago. “Dreams come true,” he continued. “Don’t ever let ‘they’ tell you can’t do it.”
