Congratulations are in order. DJ Khaled welcomed his first son with his fiancee Nicole Tuck to the world in the early hours of Oct. 23. And in true DJ Khaled fashion, the “We The Best” mogul had to keep the fans updated by giving a play-by-play of the whole labor experience on Snapchat.
Normally, when you think of giving birth, you probably think of heavy breathing, encouraging words, and pain. But DJ Khaled decided to bring a little twist to the tradition, and fans were dying of laughter. In a video the “Do You Mind” artist shared on his social account, Khaled played his hit single “I Got the Keys” as his wife began to push their unborn son out.
“DJ Khaled, while Snapchatting the birth of his son, went from playing Quran to playing ‘I Got the Keys.’ This is America at its best,” one fan tweeted after watching the video. “Award for Best husband & father of the year goes to…DJ Khaled for snap chatting birth of son while playing ‘I got the keys,'” another fan chimed in.

Additionally, DJ Khaled took to Instagram to have a mini photo shoot while inside the delivery room just moments before his son was born. In a series of three pictures, Khaled posed by the side of his fiancee bed, as doctors and other loved ones prepared for her delivery.

In the other two photos, the father-to-be was captured holding her hand and sweetly kissing her baby bump. “Bless up fan luv. The dr. said my queens water Broke… It’s go time! All praise to the most high fan luv. I’ll keep you posted !! I have to be honest, I’m so excited and my nerves on another level smh… I’m focused thoe. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH SON,” Khaled captioned one of the pics on Instagram.
