Hip-Hip purest packed Radio City Music Hall Friday night (June 26) to see some of hip-hop’s best perform during the ‘Masters of Ceremony’ concert. However, the crowd was supremely let down when DJ Kid Capri announced DMX wouldn’t be hitting the stage.

Prior to even stepping foot in the venue, authorities placed X–real name Earl Simmons–into custody for failing to pay child support. Members of the New York City Sheriff’s Office waited for him outside of the historic music hall. DMX, 44, was slated to perform with The Lox and Shabba Ranks.

DMX’s latest run-in with the law is just one of many to add to the troubled rapper’s rap sheet. His litany of arrests include charges of animal cruelty, reckless driving, probation violation and drug possession.
