After DMX was accused of robbing a 21-year-old man at a New Jersey gas station this past Easter Sunday (Apr. 5), he has decided to legally fight back with his lawyer Murray Richman.
The unnamed man claims that a member of DMX’s crew demanded his money and showed him a gun after he had recognized the rapper and approached him. Allegedly, when he took $3,200 out of his pocket, DMX snatched it and drove off.

Richman told E! News that the accusations were “completely absurd.”
“DMX was leaving a show the Masters of Ceremony show at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center a very successful show, and he stopped for gas,” Richman continued. “Four young men approached him for a photo. They took photos and they offered [DMX] drugs. He said no and told them to go…They had an argument and next thing you know, they are accusing him of robbery. Just nonsense.”
