DMX is known for causing headlines with his fiery opinions. When he stopped by the ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Tuesday (June 28) morning, he left nothing on the table, making comments about the current status of his beef with Drake, his near death experience, his relationship with Ja Rule, and more.
As some people may remember, DMX fired some shots at the Toronto rapper back in 2012 in an interview with the morning radio show, saying, “I don’t like anything about Drake. I don’t like his f**king voice. I don’t like what he talks about. I don’t like his face. I don’t like the way he walks, nothing. I don’t like his haircut. I might just…Lemme shut up. I’m gonna stop right there.”
Although now, after Drake apparently approached X to try and sway his opinion, the rap legend seems to have buried all past issues he had with Drizzy. Drake even made an effort to give ode to the OG rapper by sampling two DMX songs (“What These Bit*hes Want” and “How’s It Goin’ Down”) on his track “U With Me.”
“To be man enough to reach out and make that call, that was a real move… I salute him for that,” DMX said.
The hour long interview ended up touching on all sorts of other topics including the news that DMX will soon be fathering his 15th child. He apparently is very sensitive about who he has children with, saying he’s “just like a dog. I sniff the a**, I wag my tail.”
DMX is truly one of a kind.
