Sometimes you need to remind folks that you are not to be played with. The 20-year-old Brooklyn rapper DonMonique keeps it real gully on her newest track “Jada.” Unlike her catchy track “Pilates” (shout outs to Kendall, Kylie, and Miley), DonMonique gives us her dark and sinister side on “Jada.”
You definitely get a sense of old school Queen B, full of sex appeal but still as hard as a gun-toting thug in these streets. The Stelios Phili-produced track shows us a colder side to the young rapper, and we are totally here for it.
She ends the track appropriately with a clip from female crime movie, Set It Off. Is hip-hop ready for The Don? Listen below and decide for yourself.
