French producer / DJ Gesaffelstein has been touring extensively, but has been relatively quiet on the production front, since the release of his collaboration with A$AP Rocky “In Distress,” back in March.
Just earlier this morning, he released a remix of his hit single “Hate Or Glory” which has been an effective tool in the techno maestro’s live sets. It’s got all the elements of a hard rock ballad filled with aggressive analogue basslines and thunderous metronomic drum rhythms, enveloped in his signature cloud of darkness.
The music video for “Hate Or Glory” has been nominated in the ‘Best Cinematography’ category in this year’s MTV VMA’s. Other nominees include Beyonce, Lana Del Rey, Arcade Fire and Thirty Seconds To Mars. Watch the video here:
