You will be able to spin Compton a day early. Dr. Dre will release his Straight Outta Compton-inspired album exclusively to Apple Music users, the music-streaming service announced on Tuesday (Aug. 4). For three hours only, gain access to Dre’s “grand finale” and his collabs with Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and more (Aug 6). Users can access the album’s 16 tracks before its official release to the public on Friday (Aug. 7).

Dre’s final album will substitute the long-awaited Detox album, a project the famed producer and executive admits he was not entirely satisfied with.
“I didn’t like it,” Dre admitted, stating that he didn’t want to disappoint the fans with subpar music. “I don’t think I did a good enough job,” he added.
