Only a month before Dr. Dre and the members of N.W.A will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the producer extraordinaire is planning to come out with some new music. And according to Anderson Paak, it may be sooner than you think.
Paak, who cultivated a close relationship with Dre after working with him on a number of songs, revealed in an interview with BBC Radio that Dre has been in the studio whipping up some new material, potentially coming from his long delayed album, Detox.
Although Paak dropped a couple of hints about what Dre has going on in the studio, he went on to tell BBC that he “can’t really speak on it.” But in any case, Paak says that working with Dre on any music is a “blessing.” “It’s cool to be able to work with him at this place in his career when he’s just ready to go,” he said.
Check out what else Paak had to say about Dr. Dre and his new music in the video interview below.
