Snoop Dogg was Dr. Dre’s special guest on his Beats 1 show, The Pharmacy on Sunday night (Oct. 11), and just as one might expect, the conversation was of epic proportions. In addition to reminiscing about that one time they performed with a hologram version of Tupac Shakur, the two West Coast powerhouses discussed a Europeans dream tour that would probably have Americans stamping up their passports.
Lamenting over the fact that he has yet to take a full tour production to Europe, Dre is seeking to show appreciation to his fans overseas. His vision includes Snoop, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar in a run that he wishes to call “Beats & Rhymes.” Obviously, said dream tour would reach the highest levels of lit.
“This is one of the things that I dreamed about doing. I want to call it Beats & Rhymes. I want it to be me and Snoop. I want it to be Eminem. I want it to be Kendrick Lamar,” Dre said. “Do a tour over in Europe and call it Beats & Rhymes and take our full production over there and take our full stage over there and really go over there and show Europe the same amount of love that they been showing me throughout my entire career. So, that’s my dream. Hopefully we can make that happen.”
Snoop threw a genius two cents in, with a brilliant suggestion for renaming the not-actually-a-thing-yet tour.
“Your dream sounds like Woodstock on steroids,” Snoop added. “Let’s call it Hoodstock.”
By a show of hands, who’s backpacking through Europe if this goes down?
