May all who are reading this post have Drake level consistency.
Whether you’re a fan of Mr. Graham or not, the Scorpion artist has spent nine weeks at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 with his insanely sticky single “In My Feelings” from his chart-topping fifth studio album.
So it only makes sense the 6-God take the lead in nominations for the 2018 BET Hip-Hop awards. According to Billboard, Drizzy has earned 11 nominations, some of which include Lyricist of the Year, Album of the Year and MVP of the Year.
Tight on Drake’s heels is the self-described trap Selena, Cardi B. The Invasion of Privacy artist has merited 10 nominations. She’ll go up against Drake in several categories including Best Hip Hop Video, Single of the Year as well as Album of The Year.
Rounding out the top nominees is Childish Gambino who has six nominations, including Best Hip-Hop video for “This Is America,” Single of the Year and Impact Track.
Peep the full list of nominees below. The 2018 BET Hip-Hop Awards will take place at Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater on Oct. 6 and air on BETOct. 16 (8 p.m. ET/PT).
