Remember that Drake and Future he-said-he-said beef? A recap for all those who were sleeping last week:
Future’s pride got the best of him in a Oct. 4 Billboard interview, where the Atlanta rapper said “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you.” Not a good idea, especially when you are about to go on tour with the guy. The publication soon retracted Future’s statement after he said it was taken out of context.
Drake got pissed and threatened to have Future removed from his Would You Like a Tour? tour dates. Future countered with a lawsuit threat. It was reported that Future would lose $40,000 per show, a total of $1.5 million, if he was thrown off Drake’s tour. Eventually things were settled and Future released a statement to VIBE saying he’d be continuing on Drake’s Would You Like A Tour? jaunt as planned.
At Drake’s tour opener on Friday night, Future came out mid-Drizzy set to perform his chorus on Drake’s “Love Me,” plus two tracks — “Honest” and “Same Damn Time” — as Drake watched from the stage. They definitely seemed to have buried the hatchet with Future tweeting, “Pittsburgh was Epic,Im forever grateful for my fans.”
