Drake graces the cover of another magazine this season. The Toronto native displayed his likeness for W Magazine‘s art issue, which was shot by Caitlin Cronenbery and illustrated by Kaws.
Within the issue, Drizzy sets aside his love for music and dives into the art world. The “Energy” rapper served as a muse for five different artists, including Jim Joe, Mark Flood, and Henry Taylor.
Within the glossy, the 29-year-old artist also talked about his love for his hometown, and serving a greater purpose through his music. “I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m a vessel to deliver emotion to people,” he said. “I want to provide the background music to your life as you live it. I’m there for you in heartbreak and tragedy and joy.”
Drake is reportedly working on his forthcoming album Views From The 6, and a video for the infectious melody “Hotline Bling,” which is supposedly dropping this week.
