Drake’s recent stay at The Madison Club in La Quinta, Calif. was less than perfect, as he accused the private-country club of racial profiling on his Instagram.
In a now-deleted post, the More Life musician, who recently performed alongside Future at Coachella Week 1, described The Madison Club as “The most offensive place [I] have ever stayed at in my life with staff who pick and choose who they are going to accommodate based on racial profiling.” He ended the caption with the praise hand emoji next to the hashtag “#Coachella.”

While Drizzy didn’t list any specifics about the country club itself, his disapproval was enough to have his fans rushing to Yelp with some negative reviews, according to the New York Daily News.
“Extremely disrespectful to my boy Drizzy. 1 Take this L, Can’t be treating people like this. Specially at an event like Coachella,” wrote one user, while another commented, “The staff here showed fake love straight up to my face. They gotta know I’m more than just an option. Just hold on, I’m going home.”
The website describes the club as “the modern interpretation of California’s classic old-line country clubs,” and features a fitness center, spa, “Discovery Performance Center” and private suites.
