As predicted, OVO Sound treated fans to French Montana and Drake’s collaboration “No Shopping” with many believing a few lines allude to his recent quarrels with Joe Budden.
In May, the track was previewed on the rapper’s Snapchat account, but during Dizzy’s 25th episode of OVO Sound Radio on Saturday (July 16), the song was finally dropped. As predicted, fans went in full Pokémon-Go mode to catch references towards Budden. Lines like “Pump, pump, pump it up/She got a good head on her, but I pump it up/ I’m not a one-hit wonder, they know all my stuff/You let me turn into the ni**a that you almost was,” lured listeners in. There’s also the line where Drake says his last name.
Produced by Murda Beatz and CuBeatz, the track seems to target Budden’s critiques of Views instead of Joe’s recent diss tracks. However, that didn’t stop critics from weighing in.

Drake better have something better in the clip for Joe Budden cuz he just opened the gates to hell.

It also didn’t stop Budden from sharing his thoughts in meme-form.

Welp. The track will be featured on French’s next album, MC4 (Mac & Cheese 4). The rapper also released the tracks, “Two Times.” and a remix of “Lockjaw” featuring Gucci Mane.
