Drake‘s first night in Brooklyn during the ‘Aubrey And The Three Migos’ tour saw the Scorpion musician giving an impassioned speech where he dissed Donald Trump before performing his hit “God’s Plan.”
While he’s been giving his thoughts on diversity and inclusivity during past shows, this particular speech mentioned 45 and living in a “divided country.”
“I feel like we’re all living in a country where they try and tell us every single day, on our cell phone, on our news, they try to tell us that we’re living in a divided country, that we don’t understand unity,” he told the large crowd. “And we’re listening to this f**king idiot that’s in office… and meanwhile right here in Brooklyn, we got 16,000 people from all races and all places and all we doin’ is just sitting here enjoying ourselves, listening to music.”
“No matter how they tell us the world is goin’, this is how the f**king world is supposed to work right here in Brooklyn tonight,” he continued. “So I’m proud of you, and I appreciate you.” Thursday (Aug. 30) was the first of three nights at the Barclays Center for the Toronto musician and the trap group. Their tour officially ends in Atlanta on Nov. 17.

“We’re listening to this f*cking idiot that’s in office that’s trying to tell us something is going on.”
