Anyone who listens to Drake’s music knows that his relationship with his father has been rocky at times, but that’s not stopping him from paying homage. The Six God dressed up as Dennis Graham for Halloween, which obviously wasn’t too hard of a job given that he favors his dad, but the 34-year-old rapper gets extra points for flawless execution.
In order to perfect the costume, Drizzy glued a bushy mustache to his face and sported a white crocheted kufi cap. He posted a side-by-side image of himself and his father on Instagram on Tuesday (Oct. 30) with the caption, “Not planned.”
Drake isn’t the only getting creative with his costume this year. Lil Nas X sported a classic Cam’Ron look, Kash Doll dressed up as Betty Boop, Cardi B transformed into Poison Ivy, Big Sean channeled Miles Morales, Megan Thee Stallion and Jordyn Woods pulled inspiration from Mortal Kombat, while Remy Ma and Papoose took on the Wizard of Oz.
Newlywed Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, channeled The Bridge of Chucky, and the Suicide Squad in a Halloween photo shoot. Lala transformed into Disney’s Maleficent, Tracee Elliss Ross dressed as DJ Quick for Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s star-studded West Coast-themed costume part last weekend, Snoop Dogg showed up as himself, but he also rocked a costume on Instagram that he posted Thursday (Oct. 31).
See photos and video of the some of the costumes below.
