Drake may have gotten his first (very minor) L over the weekend during a year in which he seems to be unbeatable.
French Montana reveals that he won in a bet against the Views musician over which team would be crowned the champion of the 2016 NBA Finals. Drake believed that Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors would reign supreme, but as we know, the Bay Area ballers lost to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, 93-89.
“Shout-out to my brother Drizzy Drake for that 60 bands, ‘cuz you ain’t believe in LeBron,” the Bad Boy signee said on Snapchat.
From the start of the playoffs, it seemed as though Drizzy had it out for King James, posting Instagram pictures at him and the Cavs’ expense during the playoffs as they battled Drake’s choice team, the Toronto Raptors. Since the Cavs knocked the Raptors out of the playoffs for a chance at the ring, Drake was obviously rooting against his rivals. Poor Drake. $60K lost. But he still has a number one album and single, so we’re sure he’ll be just fine.
