
Video surfaced of a teenage Drake doing improvisational comedy at the Rivoli Theater in Toronto. The clip was dug up thanks to a new CBC feature on the historic theater. Although early in his acting career, the rapper-to-be shows off a side of himself that is reminiscent to his recent performances on SNL.
Drake’s acting experience goes back to when he starred in the hit Canadian teen soap, Degrassi: The Next Generation. In the clip, Drake’s awkward charm is on full effect and it’s entertaining to see that not much has really changed through out the years.

During the video young Drake (along with his acting partner on stage) are asked to perform impromptu plot directions from the audience. He keeps his composure and repeatedly does something comical every opportunity he gets.

Throwback footage of Drake’s improv days come on the heels of Drizzy’s new track “4PM in Calabasas,” Drake brings the flames as he takes jabs at Puff Daddy with some clever references. The other song is a Gucci Mane collaboration, “Back on Road,”
