Drake’s Summer Sixteen Tour is the gift that keeps on giving. While making a stop in Columbus, Ohio, Drizzy surprised fans with a guest appearance from Cavalier All-Star, Lebron James Saturday. (Aug. 13)
“We got to do it for old tim sake,” Drake said as Lebron stepped onto the stage, greeted by an ecstatic audience. The rapper began performing his hit single, “Pop Style” as Lebron two-stepped on the stage. Following his performance, the 2016 NBA MVP, who recently signed a $100 million contract with the Cavs gave a shout out to Drake. “Yo one time, Columbus, Ohio, give it up for Drizzy motherf**king Drake, and one more time for my brother Future who killed this sh** tonight,” he said before making his exit.
Lebron hasn’t been the only star to grace the Summer Sixteen stage. Since the tour’s beginning in July 2016, the “One Dance” artists has already gifted fans with appearances from Rihanna and Kanye West during his show in Toronto. And during his show in New York, a long list of rappers stopped by including J. Cole and T.I.
Next up on his 3-month tour is Detroit. Could we be expecting a surprise appearance from Eminem? Ebro Darden, radio show host of Hot 97Fm’s Ebro in the Morning initially ignited rumors that Slim Shady and Drake were gearing up for a vicious battle. But something tells us, we shouldn’t rule out Drake sharing the stage with Detroit’s finest just yet.
